Welcome to the grade two/three class of Holy Rosary School. We are made up of19 grade two's and 11 grade three's. There are 15 boys and 15 girls. There are two teachers, one teacher candidate and one Educational Assistant.

The class has completed a unit turtles. This term we will be working on Dinosaurs, Famous Canadians, Space, and Weather. We have also read a Story about a boy named Stanley Lambchop who is flat. We have created our own Stanley's and mailed them around the world. Our Flat Stanley's are returning to our class with exciting tales of his adventures around the world.

Our class has a friend from the Web named Buddy. He is a Bearded Collie. We like to write stories to Buddy on his Website. One of our favourite activies this year has been chatting with Buddy while he was in Nagano Japan at the Olympics. We also chatted with his friend Daisy.

This year the students in our class have been paired up with grade three students at Kingslake Public School for an e-mail exchange. At the end of the month, we will be visiting our e-mail buddies for the first time.
