get out of his yard to visit the neighbours. Hobo says his girl friend is Daisy from

Fabulous Fiona and D'arcy
These two wonderful Beardies are the pride and joy of
Cameron Bearded Collies,
down the road from Hamilton, in Jerseyville, Ontario. Loved by all, they have made their
mark in the show ring, obedience and agility competitions. They are
champion beardies. Fiona and D'arcy are marvellous.
Fiona crossed the Rainbow Bridge earlier, in 1997. She is sorely missed. D'arcy carries on
the Cameron tradition. Cameron Bearded Collies is a kennel where many very fine
Beardies are raised.

Story of a Rescue Beardie
The Amazing Houdini: Before
Houdini is a "Rescue Beardie" whose story is known world wide. He was rescued in Greece by
Mazie Blanks, but now lives in Germany. The Internet was the rescue tool! Many people cooperated
so that Houdini could have a nice home.
Houdini you are a terrific Beardie.
I hope that you are enjoying your home in Germany.

The Amazing Houdini: After

Brilliant Barney
Barney lives in Belgium, in Europe. He is a wonderful black and white Beardie who is
learning obedience and agility. It looks like Barney loves to romp in the leaves. Barney has a
great Beardie friend named Alf. They get along and play together. Thanks, Barney. I hope that
you enjoy all your new activities. Let me know how you are doing.
|
|
Awesome Alf
Alf lives in Belgium with his mom Joelle. She brings Alf everywhere with her.
He is Barney's best friend. They like to play together. Alf loves people, but
especially children. Most of all, he adores playing in the water and getting as dirty as
he can, as most Beardies love to do. Alf is so terribly funny that everybody loves him.
His name, "Alf", means "Alien Life Form". Alf says, "Life is beautiful....." I heartily agree.

Nikki's Rainbow
|
Nikkomah and Lakotah!
These wonderful Beardie girlz own the heart of their mom Marilynn. They are from Clinton,
Iowa, USA. Nikki (Hoka Hey, Nikkomah) and Kotah! (Lakotah! Dream Catcher), her little sister,
have beautiful Dakota Sioux names. Both are herding certified. Nikki passed her Canine Good
Citizen Test. Kotah! will be in conformation. The girlz got into herding and simply loved it.
Favourite game: herd the kitty, Mischa.
|
p.s. Hoka Hey is a Sioux 'greeting', or sort of "catch-all" (as in Hoka Hey, it is a good
day to ) And a dream catcher (in case you didn't know), is a circle of feathers,
beads, etc. which you place over your bed at night; it catches all your dreams, traps the bad
ones, and only lets the good ones out. Another Dakota Sioux tradition!
Nikki left us for the Rainbow Bridge on May 30, 1999. We all loved this beautiful
Beardie girl. She was a true favourite of the world wide Bearded Collie community.
Nikki, we share a special bond with you. We will miss you.

Farley
This section is dedicated to Farley, a magnificent Beardie who had a wonderful Beardie
temperment. He shared the home of Diane and Jerry Johansen. Doesn't he look so proud in
this terrific photo? Hey, he looks a bit like me. Maybe we're related. This is a trademark
picture of Farley. He seemed to always be looking at you with his left eye. Farley decided
to go to Rainbow Bridge in October 1999 to be with his buddies. He was 14 1/2 years old.
Farley loved to play outdoors. He used to decorate himself with leaves (on his snout) or
juniper branches. What a clown! Everybeardie misses lovable Farley. Visit
Dexter and Dee Dee,
two fabulous Beardies, who now own Diane and Jerry, and see some awesome pictures of them.
